MadukasMusic is proud to present a short documentary (6:38 mins) of award-winning Nigerian singer-songwriter, Gloria Maduka, belting out the US National Anthem on May 23, 2012 at 7:00 pm PT. The match was held at the Jeld-Wen Field and had the likes of Basketball Legend Michael Jordan in attendance. Maduka, who already had a following in Northwest, USA and has been frequently heard on the radio, was contacted by Timbers officials who invited her to sing the National Anthem at their only international exhibition match this season.
