AML Approved Music: ‘Contolola’ – Zone Fam (Audio)

A solid one from Zone Fam. I think I have introduced the group here before? I’m feeling this new song they sent me. I see a hit coming. Check on it.

CONTOLOLA by ZONE FAM

Zone Fam is the biggest Hip Hop Group in Zambia. The group has four members; Dope G, Jay Rox, Yung Verbal and Thugga. The group was formed in 2007 and is managed by Taurus Musik.

In 2011 Zone Fam was nominated for the CHANNEL O “MOST GIFTED NEWCOMER” Award.

On Monday 24th September 2012, Taurus Musik will officially release Zone Fam’s latest hit single
Contolola.

Contolola means “control” in Zambia. The song was composed to articulate a principle that Zone
Fam live by; “To have control, dominate and influence your surroundings”.

Taurus Musik manages the group and is currently working to release the video for this single. The video was shot in Kenya and features well-known personalities in the industry such as Wyre, Isis.
