I loved this interview on Chocolate City Group’s Audu Maikori. A refreshing perspective and I love how he speaks about his wife. I think you all might like it too. It is quite comprehensive and offers a fresh and unique side of Audu. Check on it folks.
“When I sit and dream, I have a mental list of Nigerians I’d love to interview. I’d like to interview these people, not because they are “celebrities” or “famous people”, but because they are pace-setters, change makers and positive influencers and world changers. All the bling and fame in the world cannot buy character or influence; to me, these people have always had character, fearlessness and purpose. One such person is husband, lawyer, (premiere entertainment company) Chocolate City CEO, Nigerian political activist and change maker, and multiple award winner, Audu Maikori. If you’ve ever listened to Nigerian artistes M.I., Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince, or Brymo, you’ve been introduced to the brilliant manifestations of Maikori’s dreams. The fact that I got to interview this man is quite frankly a dream come true. Here’s to checking off those on my “dream list” in the near future
When I reached out to Audu for this interview, I was extremely apprehensive. I was also certain I wouldn’t get a response, or if I did, it would not be a “Yes!” To my surprise, he responded the next day! Plus, he agreed to do the interview!!! Suffice it to say, that I was quite nervous, but his easy manner, humility and openness put me at ease (even through Skype’s many dropped calls during the course of the interview). I hope you enjoy this open, honest and extremely inspiring interview. Keep an eye out for his views on marriage and his story on how he met his gorgeous wife, Zel. This is Love. ‘n Words, after all, isn’t it? . . .”
