K-Pop Music: (Video) ‘When I Look at Myself’ by Duble Sidekick ft. Kim Tae Woo

One of the things I really love about K-Pop music beyond the quality of the songs they produce has got to be the excellent music videos they churn out. They always have a story to tell and the visuals are so powerful. It is no wonder even America’s music industry continues to watch  South Korea’s industry like  a hawk.

The song and music video ‘When I look at Myself’ is the work of one of South Korea’s hottest music producer duo called Duble Sidekick. The team made up of Park Jang Geun and Chance solicited the help of Singer Kim Tae Woo to convey the powerful emotions a man goes through during a heartache. Check out the vocals, the lyrics and the overall musical arrangement. The texture of the video, synchronization and transitions is definitely one to emulate in Nigeria’s music industry as we push to raise the bar in the quality of music and music videos we churn out.

I am completely feeling it.

Check on it folks.

“The Hit song maker producer Doublekick! They reveal their big project album. For their first project album, the best vocalist Tae-Woo Kim starts the race. The song “When I look at myself” is based on pop RnB along with an acoustic rhythm with a grove. The song also has sentimental piano melodies to make it even sadder.

The music video of the song is featured with the top actor Seung-Bum Ryu playing one top actor, and he acts out a monodrama. Seung-Bum Ryu agreed to appear on the video after listening to the music himself, and he made his own scenario and modeled his own house for the music video background. He showed he’s own way of acting and his amazing acting skills in this music video.
