AML Networking: Ice Prince all Grown Up! Gets Shout Out from Meek Mills, to Perform at Dream Chasers Sports and Entertainment Summit, Philly

Ice Prince, in my view, has come a long way from that immature kid that seemed to just tag along where Jesse Jagz or M.I Abaga went, to stepping out into his own self as a man. I really think becoming a father, albeit unplanned, ranks as one of the best things if not the best thing that has happened to Ice. He finally owned up to being the father, owned his responsibilities and he hasn’t stopped with having me raise my eyebrows and say, “alright then, hmmm I see you, what else you got.” Let’s see. I am liking his push and drive while Audu Maikori and co. do the quiet lifting of helping him build the right industry connections here Stateside to help push his work (here in the States).

I still think there is room for more growth and even more maturity. I also would like to see Ice Prince become even more articulate in expressing himself to the press. I think it would be needed if he intends to break into the US market.

Anywho, short story short, lol! Ice Prince gets a shoutout from rapper Meek Mill who informs us Ice Prince will be performing at the  Dream Chasers Sports and Entertainment Summit to be held in Philly. #Goodlook.

Artists, I encourage you to attend these summits and music business conferences/seminars. I have been encouraging the Nigeria Entertainment Award organizers in New York to put something on for our industry for a while now. Hopefully they do so this year. This is a missed opportunity both to educate and also to make money for them, I think.

AML MUSIC BUSINESS TIP: AML Artists, if you have to choose what music conferences to attend in the states, attend music producer conferences. You will meet and network with producers who make beats for some of the biggest names in the industry and they could potentially help you make that hit song that helps you break into mainstream here in the US.
