Osas Ighodaro is WOW! on the Cover of WOW! Magazine
Tinsel star and Maltina Dancehall host, Osas Ighodaro, graces the cover of the latest issue of WOW! magazine. The actress who is yet to make her Nollywood movie debut, stays winning the hearts of her audience with her role in Tinsel.
The former Miss Black USA has also been gaining fans through her hosting of shows such as Maltina Dancehall, AMVCA 2014 to name a few.
The cover is stunning! And I must say, amazing work from the WOW! magazine team.
Chiwetel Ejiofor On Mode Men Magazine Cover
This is more of a ‘Hollywood meets Nollywood’ type of news..Lol. Academy Award Nominated actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, who has been in Nigeria for the premiere and promo of Half-of-a Yellow Sun (HOAYS), has been spending a lot of time with the Nigerian press.
The HOAYS star, is on the cover of the 8th anniversary issue of Mode Men Magazine and he shares with us his memories of Nigeria and his role in the adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s book.
Nice! I am not sure about the cover though.I like that it is simple but then it gives the impression that Chiwetel was asked to send a photograph of himself which was then plastered on the cover. I would think that having such an actor grace your magazine cover, you will go all out to make a statement and even earn your magazine a place on international paper stands!
Ini Edo And Emem Isong Premiere Their New Movie
Nollywood actress Ini Edo has in her latest movie, put on the cap of a co-producer, a second time. In the movie titled ‘Knocking on Heaven’s Door,’ she not only stars in it but co-produces with talented Nollywood producer, Emem Isong.
The movie which was directed by Desmond Elliot also stars Majid Michel and Blossom Chukwujekwu among others, was premiered at the Silverbird Galleria, Lagos on the 18th of April, 2014.
The movie has gathered praises for the actress’ role as one of the producers and it is good that Nollywood actors/actresses are starting to do more than just be in front of cameras all the time.

Congrats to Funke…It’s always nice seeing celebrities give back to the community.
Yvonne Okoro’s Latest Project
Ghanaian actress Yvonne Okoro is set to premiere her latest TV project titled ‘Dining With…’ . The show is produced by the actress’ company- Desamour Company Ltd in collaboration with IFactory Live, same folks with Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Jim Iyke’s reality tv shows.
The TV show is a blend of a regular talk show and a cooking show. Guests on the show will include celebrities, top personalities and politicians who will be invited to cook as well as discuss issues affecting the society and themselves.
P.S: All guests may not necessarily know how to cook but with help of Chef Victor of Bon Apetit from Coca-Cola, they can choose to be given recipes while the Chef supervises.
The 13 episode show will air soon on Africa Magic on DSTV as well as some Ghanian and UK TV stations. This is a major business move for Yvonne Okoro and I really hope the show gets a lot of following and views. Always impressive seeing actors/actresses moving out of their comfort zones and not hopping on the ‘music train’ as the next step to doing something different.
Watch the interesting trailers below with appearances from Julius Agwu, Majid Michel and Uti Nwachukwu. (Hmm . . . I’m feeling hungry already!)
