Hey folks. I had an awesome time, yesterday September 26th, 2012, speaking on a panel with a group of esteemed fellow fashion industry insider colleagues at Delta College in Stockton, California. I will be blogging about it and sharing pictures on www.fashionentlaw.com, soonest. For the AML fashion inclined, hit me up there.
For everyone else, I wanted to share what I rocked at the speaking engagement with you all.
So, I thought to keep it fun, young, yet add a professional touch to it, given my audience were mostly students and fashion inclined students for that matter. I also thought to showcase my color blocking style skills, given fall is already here.
Accordingly, I opted for a yellow silk tunic/top, red denim pants, a green jacket and a pair of covered toe floral slip on shoes with an underlying red palette. For my accessories, I chose a colorful red necklace and a multi-colored pair of drooping triangular earrings. Voila!
The verdict? Well, I’ll tell you what one AML reader said:
Just saw your photos with the Fashion Industry Insiders… Simply beautiful!
How do you keep looking so good? This combination of beauty and brains should be a felony! 😉 . . .”
Hahahahahaahaha! The song in my head on this post? ‘Ha! Ye ma form familiarity gbagbe opportunity. Big GELZ status. Loooool’ i.e. don’t act like you know me (of course said in a showoff way) because I don’t know you o. Lol!
Have a great day folks.
