Kudos to Lawyer Mfon Ekpo who received the Golden Quill in the USA. Her name appears to be Calabar? Akwa-Ibom? It is very nice seeing fellow attorney and author (my next destination) making it happen. Extra icing on the cake that she is of the Kalabari (Calabar & Akwa-Ibom) tribe. I wish I could speak the Calabar language, although I do understand, to a large extent, Eket (the place where trouble makers like myself come from. :)) I got Y’oba on lock down so I don’t feel as bad. Welcome to the 21st century where an Igbo person only speaks Hausa and an Akwa-Ibomite only speaks Yoruba. LOL! Good look on Mfon Ekpo. Congrats!
