BET Awards 2015Yesterday, BET Networks released the official nominations list for the 2015 BET Awards. Kiernan Jordan Forbes popularly known as AKA (South Africa), The Soil (South Africa), Wizkid and Yemi Alade (Nigeria), Stonebwoy and Sarkodie from (Ghana), Fally Ipupa from (Congo) and Sauti Sol from (Kenya) have all been nominated in the category of ‘Best International Act Africa.’

Also impressive is Fuse ODG who has been nominated in the ‘Best International Act UK.’

For the U.S, it is good to see Lecrae, Mali Music, Wale, The Weekend, new comer  Jhené Aiko all nominated in the music categories, and  Taraji P. Henson nominated in the movie categories.

I think this year will be a good event. I look forward to BET having an African artist perform on stage. F– USE ODG or Yemi Alade look like perfect choices for a BET Performance.
