Congratulations to Ghana’s D-Black on the recent inking of an endorsement deal with RLG, a communications company in Ghana. D-Black is definitely on the list of one of the most hardworking, very hungry, stay grinding artist and boss man out of Africa. I don’t think there has been a week where I have not received something from D-Black’s team on ALL of his activities, for the past few years. Lol! He is literally in the media’s face, he is in his fans faces, he is on tour, he is in the studio doing collaborations, networking across the continent, US and the UK, at deal tables brokering deals and the list goes. When you take a look at his music history and personal background and see how hard he pushes and his unwillingness to take “no” for an answer, it is indeed very inspiring. I am inspired.
Check out the latest news I received below. For endorsement deals and tips on negotiating your own deals, click here.
“Ghana’s most visible music brand internationally ‘D-Black da Ghana Bwouy’ has landed a super deal with communication giant RLG; where the ‘Vera’ hit maker appears as lead Celebrity in the television commercial for their new ultra modern brand of phones, the RLG ‘VIVA’.
That’s not where it ends. We always tell you D-Black is the most business minded artist in Ghana. Now check this, the T.V commercial was shot in Johannesburg , South Africa with ‘Black Avenue Works’ the advertising & marketing firm of which D-Black is C.E.O.
D-Black is rumoured to have raked in about $150,000 for his appearance in the ad alone. The rapper tweeted via his @DBLACKGH twitter account a few photos from the shoot as well.
The RLG VIVA ad also features big brother Africa celebrities Barbz from South Africa, Lomwe from Malawi, MNet Star Gist Host, Vimbai from Zimababwe and Ghanaian super duo R2Bees. It definitely seems like it going to be a star studded T.V commercial! RLG Communications are definitely raising the bar with this one. We can’t wait till the commercial hits our screens as we already know the high quality standard music videos D-Black’s team produces. Kudos D-Black! Hardwork pays.”
Enjoy your Thursday folks.
Cheers,
