Two slogans best used for EME “Eazzzy” in my book – Nike’s “JUST DO IT!” and McDonald’s “I’m LOVIN’ It!” Okay McDonald’s is not exactly healthy food but y’all get it. Y’all just handling it, slapping folks around and just killin’ it. I LOVE IT!
Banky W, Segun Demuren, MR. TINO! Y’all trained the youngin’ well. Everytime Wizkid opens his mouth to the media, I say to myself, “omo talk sense make dem hear. “ Great artist development fellas, all around shut it down movement, makes a sista super proud! Y’all should see me beaming with smiles.
Anyway, enough yarns on my end. I got a post to write. 🙂
AML people, enjoy Wizkid’s interview at Akon’s Konvict Studios with DJ Fully Focus. I’ll never forget chatting with Tino about the Konvict-EME deal and wondering whether it would be one of those loud noises with nothing to show for it. He said, “Uduak, it’s different.” Yes sir. I see.
What a fantastic year for EME’s Wizkid. He is so focused and he rolls with one of the best teams in the music biz right about now. Gotta love it! I feel like I am watching the NBA finals and EME is here to win championships. This is where I drop one of those really sick lines from one of my favorite rappers X.O Senavoe because I believe it best describes this EME movement. They really do not have time for “jaga jaga, basa basa.”
“And the haters wane (Wayne) like Dwayne, you see our ‘World’s are so ‘Different’, I don’t explain how I live mine, I just live it!But if I pick it up, I’m in it; And if I’m in it, I will win it; Michael Jordan in an NBA Final – I win it!” – Power by X.O Senavoe.
Yup! On a side note: Why did DJ Fully Focus put the Nigerian Olympics basketball team on blast like that in the clip below? Lol!
Y’all check out Wizkid in full EME uniform ready to play the game! Let’s goooooo!
