Playtown Entertaintment embarks on the formation of a Life Long Female Band to be named PlayGroup. This Band will be signed on a 4 year recording contract worth 7 Miillion Naira. PlayGroup will tag team with its founder Play Buoy, on a joint compilation album (mixtape) to be released this year and will also be fixed characters in Playtown’sReality TV Series titled: Inside Playtown. The band PlayGroup is designed to create a musical revolution as a result, entry into this band has to be merited. PlayGroup would be created to Play Buoy’s taste and would be made up of 2 singers and a rapper. This Band will see new members come in after every recording term (4 Years). Its a band that rotates and as a result will have no permanent band member. According to Playtown’s CEO, Play Buoy ”I’m trying to get more ladies involved and recognised in the industry. I’m giving them a more competitive platform to showcase their skills”.

Interested female acts should send their full press kits (An mp3 version of your single, a bio and protriat photo) to [email protected]. This would be regarded as an entry. The Best 50 entries would be invited to audition at Rapture Studio on the 19th Of July.
