Industry News: Bobby Taylor, PR Maven, Finds Love a Second Time, Weds Abiye Karibi-Whyte?

Bobby Taylor, publicist to the stars who worked with clients such as D’Banj and M.I Abaga, has allegedly tied the knot, a second time, to Abiye Karibi Whyte, son of a Nigerian Judge/Justice.

“Popular public relations specialist Bukky George Taylor aka Bobby Taylor is settling down again. The mother-of-one, who’s separated from her first husband, quietly got married to Abiye Karibi-Whyte, son of Justice Karibi-Whyte, at a traditional event last weekend.

The traditional wedding ceremony took place on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at a venue located in Victoria Island, in Lagos. Sources say a handful of guests were entertained by a live band.

According to sources close to the new couple, Bobby and Abiye had been dating for two years before exchanging vows this past weekend. . .”

Nigerian Entertainment has the full story.

**MY THOUGHTS: Hmmm . . . the story says she is separated from her first husband. Hmmm . . .  suspect about this alleged marriage reported. NET is usually on it. Their stories typically does not have K-leg. But, can you marry a second husband when an actual divorce is yet to take place, per the report i.e. legal separation is not legal divorce. Missing some key facts here . . .

***UPDATE: Bobby Taylor confirms she is legally divorced from her prior marriage, contrary to the NET’s report that claims she is separated. She has just done the traditional wedding with the court/white weddings forthcoming. I wish her and her new husband the best of luck in their new marriage.
