Industry News: Emeka Mba, Nkiru Asika, Lanre Davies, Ropo Akin to Speak at Social Media Week Lagos in London

Social Media Week Lagos in London will be held this Friday September 27th, 2013. All I can see on the roster are some really cool AML readers and leaders of the entertainment community passing on knowledge, educating and collaborating. AML readers in the UK, if you ill be in town, please go out and support.

“There’s been a huge amount of buzz building over the past few weeks, as Social Media Week Lagos prepares to host Africa AML Nigerian Women in Entertainment Who Rock Nkiru Asikathis Friday, 27th September 2013 at the prestigious Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication in London, for an exciting day of programming and discussions on the impact of social media on the social, cultural, and economic landscape of the African continent. The day’s events will start off with a panel titled Social Media & the Future of Broadcasting in Nigeria which will discuss how social media has impacted – and is being leveraged by – the broadcasting industry in Africa. Speaking on this panel will be the Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission
Emeka Mba, and Chris Ubosi, Managing Director, Beat 99.9FM and Enterprise Creative Board Chairman.
