Inspiration | Do Yourself a Favor, Forgive . . .

Happy New Week AML People. I wish you all a great week ahead.

I have been having a blast these past few weeks meeting new people, staying focused on my goals for 2014 and chopping at them slowly but surely. One such goal is DEFINITELY to wrap up our Africa Music Law book up and y’all best believe I’m on it. As I said before, it is time, plus it will save me the energy of having to respond to gazillion questions when I can easily just reference folks to “buy the book.” 🙂

Let’s kick off this week with a theme that JUST kept coming up over and over last week for me, FORGIVENESS. See, I forgive very easily. I think it comes with how I am wired. I find that people who “say it as it is” not to be confused with being rude, do not generally tend to carry grudges around. That is because they don’t keep things in and let the pain caused by others eat at them. They take those issues head on, express themselves and then they are over it. I am one of those persons. However, I must confess there have been a few instances where people have hurt me so deeply it took forever to forgive and just let go. Considering my DNA is not wired to keep things in, it felt like I was walking around with poison in me. Once I dealt with the issue directly, I was so over it.

This past week, in my interactions with persons professionally and personally, I realized the need to remind you all and myself to FORGIVE those who may have hurt you. It allows you to breathe and to live life to the fullest extent possible.

Forgiveness is a necessity for good health. You’ll travel lighter and live longer. Have a great week ahead, be good to yourselves, be about your money-making entertainment business, and I’ll catch you all soon.

Much love.

Cheers,
Uduak
