I’m not really impressed by Ayo and his exploits. Who is Justine Sky, and why should we care? I thought Wizkid was this big-time African act; why is he doing songs with unproven American talent? In the past, he’s bragged about being in the studio with musicians like Chris Brown, Rihanna, and Akon. Yet, we have not seen any music come out of those supposed interactions. The most we’ve seen is a few low-profile featured appearances on tracks by R. Kelly and Drake. The end result is not matching the hype.

Also, when we do hear him on something, it’s always in this indiscernible accent that is sure to mislead foreigners on what true Nigerian music sounds like. I’m tired of this kid, and I wish people would stop treating him like the savior of Nigerian music.

    1. You do have a point and I raised a similar argument with Davido’s collabo with Tinashe. In this case, Roc Nation pairing Justine Skye with Wizkid can only help Justine, more so than Wizzy. Wizkid’s fans, alone, in my view, will carry that song really far. Let’s see what happens though on the moves Wiz will make in the nearest future.
