Music: ‘Wine Am Low ft. Sukiyaki’ – Duncan Daniels (Audio)

It is good to see Duncan Daniels reminding us he is very much a solid artist as he is a solid music producer. We know he knows how to make good music. The trick now is the marketing and selling of his music. This is where it appears there has been a slight hiccup. It takes time, consistency, smart and hard work and a bit of luck. I think he has all of that with luck really waiting to happen in a major way. In the meantime, I’d like to see him truly hyper-target/segment his audience/true fans to build a strong following, especially here in the States. I like the versatility on his latest track, especially on the production aspect. Check on it.

“Duncan Daniels – Wine Am Low ft Sukiyaki
Written & Produced by Duncan Daniels

Music Producer and Recording Artist Duncan Daniels, is back! It is not as though he left the music scene but when we say he is back, we mean it in the sense that we have not heard Duncan Daniels hit the Nigerian Music Scene with this much force since his 2009 hit Single “like This” which featured Africa’s Number 1 rapper, M.I.

Duncan Daniels, who last year got a production deal with U.S Label “Artist Makers/Streamline/Interscope”, has been mainly making music from a production standpoint but 2012 it seems, will present a lot more presence from Duncan Daniels as he has once again produced and delivered on a very commercial Nigerian Afro Pop Song here; titled “Wine Am Low”. The Song features fellow Nigerian Singer, Sukiyaki. Remember that name because you will be hearing a lot from him in 2012. Sukiyaki is a member of the Nigerian based label “Trip City” and is known for his hit single “She Wanna”. He recently moved to the United States and is already creating buzz in Boston where he is attaining a degree in Music Production. Duncan Daniels and Sukiyaki really have displayed high level musicianship on this song, also produced and engineered by Duncan Daniels at his Dunkishrock Studio in New York City. We hope to hear more music like this from Duncan Daniels. There are also rumors that a Video to this song is already in the works.

This is not a track you sleep on and I am more than certain that it will wind up on a lot of Deejay’s playlist this year.
