Nigerian Music Going Global: Wizkid Makes Appearance at Bishop Douglas School London, Brings Excitement and Laughter

What a tragic weekend in Nigeria with the Dana Air plane crash in Lagos killing 153 passengers. My deepest of condolences to family and friends affected. May the souls of all on the plane rest in peace.

While the nation mourns, I am reminded to cherish life. Indeed, for me, there is nothing as beautiful as the joyful  sounds of children and young people to underscore that point. I love the innocence, carefree and vibrant spirits that children and youths in general have. The can do and fearless attitude is infectious.

EME’s wizkid, who is currently on a tour in the UK, made an appearance at Bishop Douglas School in London and he brought with him that vibrant youthful energy;that made the kids at the school scream hysterically, laugh and get giddy with excitement. Lol!

While at the school, he encouraged students to stay off drugs (AML artists it also applies to you all) and stay in school. Wizkid also revealed he wanted to be a lawyer until his music career took off and became his life. Wizkid joins 9ice and Goldie as Nigerian artists who have expressed their interest in being members of the legal profession. The beauty about that is that they have all the time in the world to go that route, after their music careers.

Have a great day. Appreciate life and do let your family and friends know how much you cherish them.
