Question From an AML Reader: What Have Nigerian Entertainers Gained Since Jason’s IROKOtv Started?

I received the message below and the reader wanted me to pose the question to you all as well and says he will also discuss it on air (his radio show presumably):

“I read your article on titled ‘Killing Irokotv’. As a former chairman of Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria and the 1st Anti Piracy taskforce chairman in Lagos State, may I ask what Nigerian Entertainers have gained since Jason and his Irokotv started?”

What is your response folks? What has Jason Njoku done to benefit Nigerian entertainers? To me it’s obvious, if weighed objectively. But, then again, that’s just my opinion. Weigh in on the blog or AML’s social media pages and I’ll gather and share the responses.
