Terry G’s ‘Madness’ Frees him From Now Muzik Management #Contract Termination

Can we all agree on one thing here, Terry G is “MADT!” Have you noticed for the most part that Terry G music videos always seem to give him a lot of space, and then they turn him loose to  free his madness?

I enjoy his work since I personally love that kind of free madness so long as it is not drug induced.

I told you all to send topics or your comments that I can address here. I received the Mirror Boy one with Genevieve Nnaji that I addressed. I have received several others including that of@NJosh_D_Elcee, one of the first followers of Africamusiclaw who tweeted at me on twitter he following: “@uduaklaw why did #nowmusic drop #terryg. i need update plsss.”

Here is what Nigerian Entertainment Today reported five days ago:

“Popular artiste management outfit Now Muzik has called it quits with hitmaker and singer Terry G. This was made known in a press statement released by the management body.

‘The decision to disengage from the artist stems from the fact that the artiste and the company have been unable to fully synchronize their visions’, Tony ‘Don T’ Anifite, C.O.O at Now Muzik said in the statement.

The company however stated that the relationship between both parties remains cordial.

Now Muzik also manages artistes like 2face Idibia, Timi Dakolo, Kween and T.W.O. among others.

Terry G who signed with Now Muzik back in November 2010 will be separating with the company for the second after a series of on and off dealings.”- NET

I don’t gbeborun (amebo) so even when I am privy to facts, I prefer to just wait till the whole shindig hits the media and then I can do my own Terry G free madness rendition via the law.

Suffice it to say, the above just brings up issues dealing with Artist-Management.

We saw this in the Toni Payne v. Olamide case.

There have been other cases in the past and there will be more to come.

In the meantime, know what and how to deal with artist-management contracts by clicking my article here.
