Video: Lecrae on 2011 BET Hip-hop Cypher

I am just so happy I can’t even express it. One of my favorite hip-hop artists had the platform to spread Christian hip-hop music. I love hip-hop music and can never seem to get enough. Growing up, I could be walking en-route to run an errand and if I heard an ongoing rap  battle , I would run as fast as my legs could get me to check it out. I also felt that sense of excitement and nostalgia any time I could catch tv shows where rap battles was involved. I love the art form and I think my passion for law (aka words) and my personality sort of makes hip-hop a natural fit for me.  But, I am highly allergic to hip-slop and I feel most of what is out there is hip-slop. So, when an artist like Lecrae, among many solid rap artists, especially Christian hip-hop artists show up, I’m on a high. Do check him out.
